by admin on Nov.28, 2008, under Convert digital formats
Hi, just wanted to share this great program with you today. I found a little program that could convert some file formats to MP3. Then a friend suggested that I should download “Free M4a to MP3 Converter”. It is in revision 6.0 so it is old and stable, good to know so you don’t end up messing up your music collection.
It main features is in the topic, it converts some formats to mp3. But it could also convert it to wave format. And the program has got batch options, so you could convert a whole folder of songs at once, so you don’t get stuck in front of the computer for too long.
I hope you enjoy the program as much as I did today, you find it at maniactools.com.
Convert mp3 to cd using Windows built in cd burner
by admin on Nov.26, 2008, under Convert mp3 to cd
If you want to convert your mp3s to a music cd in windows without any 3. party software this is the guide you should be looking at. I will take you throught these easy steps, and of you go to your cd player and play it!
First you need your music files. Find them and mark every song you want to have on the cd. Then you right click on them while they are marked, and choose Send to -> CD RW Drive.
Head over to “My Computer” and double click on your cd burner station, often a icon with the label CD RW Drive. There you will see a list of actions on your left, and one of them is “Write these files to cd”, you choose that and follow the wizard. It enables you to give your new cd a unike name, like “NewYearMix”.
At the end of the wizard you are prompted to put in a blank CDR or CDRW, CDR will work best if you want to play it on most regular CD players after you are done burning it. Only advanced cd players will read your CDRW, but if you got one you can burn the cd with different songs on a later time.
Then windows will burn your CD and you will be able to play it in a few minutes, enjoy it!
